Each pet gets a unique QR tag that lets finders access essential pet information without revealing private owner details. When the tag is scanned, the scan location can be sent directly to the owner's MaRu inbox.

MaRu started with a simple question: what if one small QR tag could make it easier for a lost pet to get home? We built MaRu to give pet owners a simple digital safety profile for their pets. When someone finds a pet and scans the QR tag, they can see essential information, while the scan location can be sent directly to the owner's MaRu inbox. Our goal is simple: less searching, less waiting, and a safer way home for every pet.
Gonna shave a QR code into my cat.

Wow, very interesting idea!
We all know how useful this will be.
Love the no-app-required design — in the stressful moment of finding a lost pet, the finder just scans and reaches the owner's info without downloading anything. Sending the scan location to the owner's inbox is a smart touch that turns a passive tag into an active recovery tool. One suggestion: add an emergency contact field (a second owner or the vet) on the pet profile, since the primary owner may not always be reachable.
