Hi Fazier 👋 I'm the maker of Zherani. The idea came from a simple problem: managing money is often a team effort, but most money manager are built for individuals. Whether it's couples sharing household expenses, families planning monthly budgets, or small teams tracking shared spending, keeping everyone aligned can quickly become difficult. People end up using spreadsheets, sending screenshots, or manually reconciling transactions. That's why I built Zherani. The core idea is collaborative financial management through shared workspaces, where multiple people can contribute and stay updated in one place. Current features include: • Shared workspaces for collaborative expense tracking • Income and expense management • Budget planning and monitoring • Recurring transactions • Financial reports and spending insights • Multi-device access My goal is to make financial management simpler not just for individuals, but for people managing money together. I'd love to hear your feedback, ideas, and feature requests. Thanks for checking out Zherani and supporting the launch 🚀
Framing this around shared workspaces rather than personal finance is the right wedge, since that's the case existing budgeting apps handle worst. Two things I'd want to understand: how do you deal with uneven contributions — if one partner covers 70% of a shared budget, does the app track a running balance between people the way a bill-splitting tool would, or does it only report on the pooled total? And is permission granular enough that a member can see category totals without seeing every individual transaction? For families and small teams that second one tends to decide whether the tool actually gets adopted or quietly abandoned.

Thanks Roberto! Great questions. 🙌 For uneven contributions, Zherani currently focuses more on tracking shared expenses and the total budget, rather than calculating who owes whom like a bill-splitting app. For permissions, we’re working toward more flexible controls so families can share the right level of financial information without exposing everything. Really appreciate the feedback!

The real problem Zherani solves is visibility and trust in shared finances. Most couples and teams resort to spreadsheets, Venmo screenshots, or verbal agreements - which inevitably leads to miscommunication and resentment. Having a single source of truth where everyone can see expenses in real-time, categorized and organized, removes the friction that kills collaborative money management. The budget alerts and recurring transaction automation are smart touches that keep teams aligned without constant conversations. This is the infrastructure that makes financial partnerships actually work.

Thank you, Gal! 🙌 You described exactly the problem we want to solve. We built Zherani to make shared money easier to see and manage, without relying on spreadsheets or constant conversations. Really appreciate your support!
Shared money is such an awkward thing to track. Every couple I know is running some mix of a spreadsheet, Venmo screenshots, and "I'll get you next time" — and it always turns into a mild argument eventually. Having one place where you can both just see what's been spent takes the guesswork out of it. That's the whole thing really. The budget alerts and recurring transactions are a good call too — means you don't have to keep bringing it up. Solid idea.

Thanks Elliot! 🙌 That “I’ll get you next time” problem is exactly what we want to make easier. 😄 The goal is simple: everyone can see what has been spent, so there is less guessing and fewer awkward conversations. Thanks for checking out Zherani!
