Stop losing users to server downtime. Setup in 30s.

YourServerIsDown is a "set it and forget it" tool that texts you the moment your server goes down. No fancy dashboards. No noise. Just a text when your server goes down—right when it happens, instead of finding out from your users hours later. Setup only takes 30 seconds, no code required. Our goal is to help remove the stress of unexpected server outages, such as after a new launch or press coverage when traffic spikes.

Started as a side project to solve my own problem of not finding out fast enough when our server would be down... scary when you check your email just to see it's been down for an hour after a spike in traffic. Not really something that I think warrants a subscription (if you're an indie hacker or small team), so I built this lightweight solution to get the job done for less than a cup of coffee. Also only takes 30 seconds to set up. Hope it saves others from some OH SH*t's!

Perhaps! There's some guides online if you'd like to build your own... just keep in mind the monthly cost + phone number for sms (if you chose to go with Twilio)
Great and simple. That's how it should be done.

Have been looking at downtime alert tools from my app as well. Would use this in a heartbeat if there are slack alerts

This is quite helpful, I got a few VPS serving my websites and I am always checking if everything is running or not.

Can this work in https://namecraftai.com
The deliberately small scope is strong. One operational detail can make or break SMS alerts: do you require two consecutive failed checks before paging, and send a recovery SMS when the endpoint is healthy again? Exposing that anti-flap rule would make the promise easier to trust.
