Take the one‑minute quiz — or open the Pet Finder to dial in space, daily time, budget, and allergies — and get matched from 43 real pets across 7 families, from dogs and guinea pigs to geckos, axolotls, and even a praying mantis. Every match links to an honest, vet‑reviewed care guide that covers the hard parts as cheerfully as the fun ones, with real costs, breeds, and supply checklists. Kids can keep exploring with animal‑knowledge quizzes, a browser‑based Pet Arcade, and printable checklists — all free, no sign‑up. The whole thing was dreamed up by Emilia, a 9‑year‑old animal lover who wanted a friendly place to help other kids choose and care for the right pet. And we always say the same thing: adopt, don't shop. 🐾
