Store encrypted files. Deliver them on your terms.
Vaulternal is a zero-knowledge encrypted file vault for securely storing and sharing your most important files. Share files privately with anyone right now through encrypted links, or set conditional delivery rules so the right people receive the right files at the right time. Delivery triggers include specific dates, inactivity-based check-ins, trusted contacts, manual release, and more. Everything is encrypted in your browser before upload. No one, including Vaulternal, can read your files.

I built Vaulternal because I realized there was no good answer to a simple question: if something happens to me, how do my important files get to the right people? Cloud drives don't have delivery rules and aren't private enough. Locked drawers don't have encryption. Lawyers don't handle day-to-day file sharing. Vaulternal sits in that gap. Everything is encrypted in your browser before it ever leaves your device, and you set the rules for when and to whom files are delivered. You can also use it right now to share sensitive files securely. I'd love to hear how you'd use it

Interesting approach—how does the encryption handle large file uploads without slowing down the browser?

Thanks for asking. In a nutshell, files are streamed through a Web Worker in 5MB chunks, encrypted with the browser's native AES-256-GCM, and uploaded in parallel - so the main thread stays free and memory stays flat regardless of file size (up to 5GB). To add more details, basically, it's streaming, not buffering; web worker isolation; native WebCrypto (AES-256-GCM); parallelized pipeline; per-chunk integrity. Hope it answers your question!
