Domain, SSL & hosting renewal alerts, free for 5 domains
Losing a domain or letting an SSL certificate expire usually happens for a boring reason: the renewal email went to an old inbox, the card on file expired, or the asset lives at a registrar nobody checks anymore.
TLDix keeps every renewal in one place. Enter a domain and TLDix looks up its WHOIS record, expiry date and SSL certificate automatically, then emails you 30, 7 and 1 day before anything expires. It works with every registrar and hosting provider.
Free tools, no sign-up needed: SSL checker, DNS lookup, WHOIS lookup, hosting checker and a domain name generator. The free plan covers 5 domains; paid plans add more assets, team members, webhooks and API access. Available in English, Turkish, Spanish and German.

Hi Fazier! I built TLDix after losing track of renewals across several registrars and hosting accounts. You add a domain, it reads WHOIS and the SSL certificate, and emails you 30, 7 and 1 day before anything expires. It works with any registrar. The SSL checker, DNS lookup and WHOIS pages work without an account, and the free plan tracks 5 domains. I'd love feedback on two things: what else breaks silently for you (DNS changes, CAA records, nameservers?), and would you want Slack/webhook alerts before email?
Answering your question: nameserver and DNS record changes are the ones that bite me silently, more than expiry. A domain can be renewed and still break because someone edited an A or MX record at the registrar. A daily diff of the DNS records with an alert on change would be worth paying for. Webhook alerts before email would be my vote too.
The 30/7/1-day alert cadence is a nice touch, since a single reminder is easy to miss when it lands in a shared inbox. Pulling WHOIS expiry and the SSL cert automatically when you add a domain also saves the tedious part of tracking renewals across registrars. Do the alerts go to multiple recipients on the free plan, or is that a team-plan feature?
A 30, 7 and 1 day alert cadence is a sensible default for client domains. Is there a way to group alerts by client when one team tracks domains for several clients, or do they all land in one list?
Renewal emails going to an old inbox is exactly how domains get lost, so the 30/7/1-day alerts make a lot of sense. For agencies with many client domains, is there a way to route alerts per domain to different people, or a CSV import for bulk adding?
