Free TikTok creator toolkit — 11 tools, no signup
TikTapDown is a free TikTok creator toolkit — 11 tools for people who post on TikTok regularly and want research data and workflow tools without signing up for another subscription.
The research side is what most people come for. Trending TikTok videos and hashtags are refreshed daily for 16 countries (US, UK, Brazil, Turkey, Germany, France, Japan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, Canada), with the hashtag rankings sourced from TikTok's own Creative Center. A live keyword research tool surfaces what people actually type into TikTok search. Best-time-to-post windows are researched per country, and each market has a creator guide covering top niches and platform habits.
For content, there is a hook generator with 440+ proven opening lines in 11 languages, a curated hashtag library for 15 niches with strategy notes, a Unicode font generator for bios and captions, an engagement rate calculator, and an RPM calculator.
The downloaders save TikTok videos in HD without watermark and extract audio to MP3 — and they support deep links, so an AI assistant or a bookmark can drop a user straight onto a ready result instead of an empty input box.
Every tool works without signup, login, or email. There is no premium tier, no locked features, and no ad units — the site is a personal project maintained by one developer.
TikTapDown also ships as an MCP server (`tiktapdown-mcp` on npm) exposing the downloader, hook generator, best-time and hashtag tools to Claude Desktop, Cursor, and any Model Context Protocol client, and as a free iOS app (TikTapDown: Tok Video Saver).

Hi Fazier — I'm Faruk, solo builder behind TikTapDown. The part I'm most proud of is the trends data: videos and hashtags for 16 countries, refreshed every morning, with hashtag rankings pulled from TikTok's Creative Center rather than guessed from a sample. Everything is free and needs no account. Happy to answer anything technical — the site is Next.js on Vercel, the trends pipeline is a Python scraper on a small VPS, and the whole toolkit is also an MCP server if you use Claude or Cursor.
The MCP server integration for Claude and Cursor is such a neat feature! Being able to query TikTok trend data directly inside an AI workflow is super handy. Kudos on the launch!
wow .
nice and helpful project
an independent developer passionate about building practical tools that solve real problems.
The per-country posting windows are a smart touch, since 'best time to post' advice is usually one global guess that falls apart outside the US. How often does the daily hashtag ranking refresh compared with the Creative Center's own update cadence?

The per-country best-time-to-post windows are the part I'd actually use. I'm scheduling TikToks for a US audience from New Zealand right now and doing the time zone maths by hand. Are those windows from your own trend data or from published studies? And are the 440 hooks tagged by niche, or only by language?
The MCP server is a nice touch — dropping a downloader and hook generator straight into a chat client means the tools meet people where they already work instead of adding another tab. Curious whether the daily hashtag refresh is on a fixed schedule per country or triggered by TikTok's own Creative Center updates.
Static QR codes that never expire
The name says exactly what it does — open it and you're not guessing. That kind of quick, single-purpose utility is what I look for when I just need one job done fast.
Static QR codes that never expire
Clean, focused tool. A share or export option would round it out, but the core flow is fast and easy, which is all you need from a utility like this.
The 16-country angle is the part most TikTok tools skip — hashtag rankings pulled from TikTok's own Creative Center plus best-time-to-post windows with the cultural reasoning behind them beats a single global list any day. The free MCP server for Claude is a smart touch too: it lets creators pull trending keywords straight into their caption-writing workflow instead of copy-pasting between tabs. The hook generator at 440+ lines in 11 languages pairs well with the per-market creator guides for writing that first 3 seconds in the audience's own language.
Creativity & Tech
As a content creator, I know how tricky keeping up with trends and hashtags can be 😅. I love the idea of having everything in one place without extra subscriptions. TikTapDown looks really useful for creators like me!

The downloader seems like a good way to get people through the door, but the country-specific trends and keyword research feel like the reason they’d come back. Curious whether you’re seeing that happen yet, or whether those tools attract mostly separate audiences. I’d love to see a flow that takes someone from saving a reference video to finding relevant keywords and drafting their own hook. That would make the tools feel like one creative process rather than separate utilities. Congrats on the launch!
