13We built SVGicons.com to make it easier for developers and designers to discover open-source SVG icons while keeping the original source, author, license, and attribution information visible. The goal is to make icon search practical without losing the context needed to use each icon responsibly. Browsing and search are free, and we would be glad to hear what could make the workflow more useful.
great usefule thanks for share
Keeping source, author, license, and attribution visible is the standout here; that prevents accidental misuse when teams mix libraries. A useful next step would be exporting a collection with its SVGs plus a generated ATTRIBUTION.md or JSON manifest. Is that planned for private collections?

Keeping author, source, license, and attribution visible per icon while you copy SVG markup is the detail that matters for real use. If you want to spend less on AI at work later, take a look at pzero.studio.
Does search match aliases or only the icon's own name? Half my searches use the wrong word (bin vs trash, cog vs gear) and that's usually where icon search falls apart for me.
Spot on. Generic language apps are totally misaligned for relocation scenarios where you need hyper-targeted survival phrases on day one rather than months of gamified vocabulary you'll never use. Tailoring lessons instantly to a specific real-world goal solves that friction completely.
Keeping the license and attribution visible per-icon is the part that usually gets skipped by icon search tools, and it's exactly the thing that bites teams later when they can't remember which library a copied SVG came from. Nice that browsing stays free instead of gating that behind an account.

This looks very useful for developers and designers who constantly need icons without jumping across multiple libraries. The search, preview, and copy workflow sounds especially convenient. It would be great to see filtering by icon library, license, and style if those aren’t already available.
Really clean way to browse icon sets. The preview + license info in one place is super useful.

This looks super useful. One thing that would make it even better for me is aliases. Right now, I often only find the icon I want if I already know the exact name. If I don’t know whether it’s called “trash” vs “bin” or “cog” vs “gear”, search becomes much harder. Would it be possible to support a few aliases / alternative keywords per SVG icon, so it’s easier to discover icons even when we don’t know the precise term?
