A notepad that opens instantly and gets out of your way
Simple Notes is a minimalist browser-based notepad. No account needed, your notes save automatically to your browser and never touch a server. Features dark mode, note history, word count, and .txt export. Built for people who just want to write something down without a three-step onboarding flow.
Write notes, share, store in local storage, no sign in, no ads, no distraction, download as .txt
Every time you need to jot something quick, most tools make you sign in, wait for sync, or navigate a UI that wasn't designed for speed. Simple Notes removes all of that.

love how minimal this is. most note apps are way too bloated, a notepad that just opens is underrated.

Great idea, and love the minimalist interface. However, why would someone use this instead of notepad on their device?

Thanks! That's a good question. In my case I prefer a notepad inside the browser instead of an app
