Collect, manage, and showcase testimonials - AI powered
Hey everyone! ๐
I'm building Provoon - a testimonial collection tool with an AI angle
I haven't seen done well anywhere else in this space.
Every testimonial tool does the same thing: collect and display. None
of them tell you which ones are actually your best, or turn them into
something ready to post today. That's the gap I'm building for.
Here's what Provoon does:
COLLECT
- One shareable link - customers submit text, video, or audio
- Guided prompt questions so you get useful answers, not vague praise
- No account needed for the person leaving the testimonial
AI-POWERED
- Auto-tags sentiment on every testimonial
- Pulls out the sharpest, most quotable line automatically
- Surfaces your best testimonials without you scrolling through dozens
SHOWCASE
- Beautiful, fully customizable Wall of Love
- One-line embed snippet works on any website
- Deep customization (colors, fonts, layout) the #1 thing every
competitor's users ask for and don't get
I'm a solo founder building this in public, from scratch, and sharing
the real numbers - good and bad along the way.
Free plan available, no credit card required. Would genuinely love
your feedback, questions, and honest thoughts. I read everything. ๐

I built Provoon because every testimonial tool I looked at does the same thing - collect and display. None of them tell you which testimonials are actually your best, or turn them into something ready to post today. So that's what I built: AI that auto-tags sentiment and surfaces your strongest testimonials automatically, instead of leaving you to scroll through dozens manually. What it does: - Collect text, video, and audio testimonials via one shareable link - AI auto-tags sentiment and pulls out the sharpest quote - Auto Send Testimonial Collection Pages to Clients/Customers - Fully customizable Wall of Love - embed anywhere with one line This is a solo build, launched today, and very much a v1. I'd genuinely love your feedback - what works, what's missing, what you'd want to see next. I'm replying to everything here today. Thanks for checking it out ๐

Picking the most quotable line automatically is a genuinely useful idea. Reading through 40 testimonials to find the one good sentence is exactly the work nobody does. A couple of questions from someone who works on accessibility: 1. Video testimonials: do they get captions or a transcript? Without them the video is invisible to deaf users and to everyone watching on mute, which is most people on mobile. You already process the content with AI, so auto-captions with an edit step feel like a natural fit. 2. The Wall of Love ends up on your customers' sites, so its accessibility becomes their problem. If it rotates like a carousel, can visitors pause it? And with deep color customization, do you warn when text and background contrast gets too low? 3. When the AI pulls out one line, does the customer who wrote it see and approve the short version? A sentence taken out of context can say more than they meant, and that makes a testimonial less trustworthy, not more. Good luck with v1!

Nice product. The interface looks straightforward and the value is immediately clear. How are you planning to develop it further?

Pulling out the most quotable line is a good angle. Most testimonials are a lot of context around one strong sentence. Question: when the AI shortens a quote, does the customer approve the short version before it goes on the Wall of Love? Trimming can shift the meaning a bit, and having their sign-off keeps it trustworthy. Also curious whether video testimonials get captions, since a lot of them end up reposted as vertical clips on Instagram and TikTok.
Picking out the most quotable line is a smart gap to go after. Most testimonial walls are full of "great service, would recommend" because nobody asked a good question. Guided prompts fix the input side too. One thing I'd watch: when the AI trims a testimonial to its sharpest line, can the customer approve the shortened version before it goes public? A trimmed quote that drops context can read stronger than what the person actually meant, and an approve-the-edit step would keep it honest. Does the sentiment tagging also flag useful criticism you could act on?

Collecting text, video, and audio testimonials without forcing submitters to create accounts, then tagging sentiment and pulling quotes for an embeddable Wall of Love, keeps social proof from becoming another signup funnel. Running AI features without torching the budget? Leftover capacity is at pzero.studio.
Guided prompt questions are the underrated part โ the gap between vague praise and a usable testimonial is almost always the question you ask, not the customer. Suggestion for the AI ranking: score testimonials by specificity (concrete numbers, before/after, named outcomes) rather than sentiment alone; the ones that convert are usually the specific ones. And if video/audio answers feed the same scoring after transcription, you cover the whole collection funnel in one pass.
Ranking which testimonials are actually the strongest is a real gap, most tools just store them. Guided questions help a lot too, vague praise is useless on a landing page. Can you export the best ones with the customer's name and company so they can be published as structured reviews on the site?
