Hi Fazier! 👋 PlannyMeals actually started as a meal planner — but our users kept telling us the real problem wasn't planning, it was recipe chaos: the reel you saved on Instagram, the link you can never find again, the photo of a cookbook page. So we rebuilt the app around that. Share or snap any recipe and PlannyMeals turns it into a clean, structured recipe with ingredients, amounts and steps. From there you can cook along step by step, send ingredients to a shopping list grouped by aisle, and plan your week from your own collection. Would love to hear how you manage your recipes today!
The "photo from a cookbook" feature is the standout to me — most recipe apps only solve the "saved a reel and lost it" problem, but digitizing physical/family cookbooks is a much harder OCR + parsing problem (handling weird layouts, handwritten notes, faded print). How accurate is it with older or less standard cookbook formatting? And does the shopping list grouping by aisle adapt to different store layouts, or is it a fixed general grocery structure?

**A surprisingly useful idea** PlannyMeals solves a problem I didn’t realize how often I had: saving recipes everywhere and then never finding them again. I really like how simple the workflow is — share a recipe from Instagram or TikTok, paste a link, or snap a photo of a cookbook page, and it turns it into a clean, structured recipe. The cook-along mode, shopping list, and weekly meal planning make it feel like more than just a recipe-saving app. The combination of AI + food is genuinely practical here. It feels designed around how people actually discover and cook recipes today. Definitely worth trying if your saved recipes are currently scattered across social media, bookmarks, and screenshots.
Building PZERO, saving you money - pzero.studio
Well done getting this out. Super useful that a cookbook page snap turns into a recipe you can cook from. If you want discounted rates on the recipe cleanup models, pzero.studio is around.

The recipe discovery and storage problem is real. Most people save recipes across Instagram, TikTok, bookmarked links, and notes apps - then spend 20 minutes searching for that one thing when it's time to cook. The angle here is interesting because you're consolidating the *collection* problem (where do I keep everything) with the *execution* problem (step-by-step cooking). Snapping a cookbook page into a structured recipe is clever - not everyone wants to type or OCR manually. Shopping list grouped by aisle is a nice touch because meal prep fails at the planning-to-execution gap, not the recipe part. This solves an actual workflow problem that doesn't need a subscription to address.

This is such a practical use of AI. The ability to save a recipe from a reel, link, or even a photo and turn it into a clean, structured recipe solves a problem almost everyone who cooks has faced—“I saved it somewhere, but where?” 😂 I especially like the combination of recipe organization, step-by-step cooking, shopping lists, and weekly planning. It feels much more useful than just another recipe app because it works around how people actually discover recipes today. I’m building https://speakerrescue.online/ and love seeing products that take a simple everyday problem and turn it into a genuinely useful workflow. Great concept! 🚀
AI content creation for Arabic-speaking creators
Love that you support multiple input formats (reel, link, photo) — that's a real pain point most recipe apps miss. How accurate is the extraction from video content specifically?

The cookbook-page photo to structured recipe step is the part I'd actually use. Most recipe apps stop at link import. Two questions: how does it handle non-English or handwritten pages (Japanese and Chinese cookbooks often give amounts in cups or 合 rather than grams), and when you scale portions, do calories and macros get recomputed or is that a one-time estimate from the original serving size?
Rankly tier list maker
This is a thoughtful solution to a very real problem—recipes are often scattered across saved Reels, browser tabs, screenshots, and old messages. Turning them into structured ingredients and steps, then connecting everything to shopping and weekly planning, makes the whole process genuinely practical. We’re also building a different kind of organization tool at https://tierlistmaker.pro/, helping people turn collections into clear, shareable tier lists. I like the broader idea of transforming saved content into something people can actually use.

AI Builder. TimedSubs came from a simple production problem: when a script is already approved, ordinary auto captions can still rewrite names, numbers, and terms. We built a script-first workflow that keeps the submitted wording authoritative, uses the matching voiceover to set timing, and makes QA and export blockers visible before delivery. I would especially value feedback from voiceover artists, course producers, and localization teams on the review and handoff workflow.

The multi-source import is the real value here because recipes are usually scattered across reels, links and cookbook photos. I would add a quick review screen that shows the original source beside the parsed ingredients, especially quantities and units, before saving. That could prevent a small OCR or conversion error from becoming a cooking mistake. Can users correct an imported amount once and have the app remember that preference for similar recipes?
