No phone number. No server copies. Just you and them.
MindTheClub is a private messenger for Android that never asks for your phone number or your email. Messages and calls travel directly between devices, encrypted end to end, and are never stored on our servers.
The code is open source under GPLv3, so anyone can check what the app really does. No ads, no tracking, no data to sell: after a free 30 day trial that starts with your first message, it costs 1 euro a month.

6Hi Fazier! I built MindTheClub because I wanted a messenger that doesn't ask for my phone number and doesn't keep copies of my conversations on someone else's server. After about two years of work, messages and calls now go straight from one phone to the other, encrypted end to end. The code is open source under GPLv3, so you don't have to take my word for it. It costs 1 euro a month after a 30 day trial, because I'd rather charge a small fee than sell anyone's data. I'd really value your honest feedback, especially on what would make you switch.
E2E encrypted chat without a phone number is rare — Signal still needs one. What's the key-exchange story, and do you have a public audit or is it self-attested for now?
Building PZERO, saving you money - pzero.studio
Routing messages and calls straight between phones with no phone number needed, while still running on GrapheneOS without Google services, is a thoughtful privacy setup. If you ever want to add some AI to the business side of things, PZERO is over at pzero.studio.
Interesting concept! As a product designer and AI product builder, I appreciate the focus on privacy and simplicity. Building a messaging experience without phone numbers or centralized servers is a refreshing approach. Curious to see how this evolves!
We craft beautiful and cute apps.
Running without Google Play services is huge for anyone on GrapheneOS. Curious how messages get delivered if the other person is offline and nothing touches a server. Charging 1 euro a month makes sense. Free privacy apps always make me wonder what the catch is.
