Hi! Solo maker here 👋 GapQuery started as my personal tool. I was building micro SaaS apps and kept manually searching app stores to figure out what was missing. Instead of doing that every time, I built a database of 35,600+ apps across 11 ecosystems and wired it up to Claude Code via MCP. Now I can ask "find apps with lots of users but terrible reviews in Zendesk" and get a ranked list of disruption targets in seconds. The research pipeline saves opportunities and runs 6-area deep dives on demand. It's a one-time purchase from $99, no recurring fees. Would love your feedback or what features would make this more useful for you?
Enabling non-technical users or developers unfamiliar with complex SQL to query databases via natural language is a solid direction. GapQuery seems to focus on lowering the barrier to data access and streamlining the interaction process. While I haven’t had the chance to stress-test its logic accuracy in complex scenarios yet, the "chat-to-query" experience is definitely a key driver for team productivity. Curious to see how it handles more intricate multi-table joins.

Thanks for taking a look. Quick clarification on the framing: GapQuery isn't a general "query any database in natural language" tool. It's a curated database of 35,600+ apps across 11 marketplaces (Shopify, WordPress, QuickBooks, etc.), exposed as 17 purpose-built MCP tools. You don't write queries. You ask things like "find Shopify apps with 1,000+ reviews under 3.5 stars" and get a ranked structured answer. Less flexible than NL-to-SQL, more useful for the specific job of finding app gaps. Multi-table joins aren't the primary use case, but cross-ecosystem queries (apps thriving on platform A that don't exist on platform B) are, and that's where the most interesting opportunities show up.
