26Hey Faizer 👋 I'm Thomas. You know the dance: you search "the best banana bread," click the top result, and start scrolling. Past the autoplay video. Past the pop-up begging for your email. Past 1,800 words about someone's grandmother's porch. Your hands are covered in flour. The recipe is somewhere down there. Probably. I built Drizzlelemons because cooking shouldn't start with a fight. You paste a recipe URL and it pulls out just the part you cook from - title, ingredients, method, time, servings. No ads, no life story. Clean. Then it lets you keep it - save and organize your collection, because your recipes should be yours, not something you re-google every week. The bits I'm proudest of are the small ones: scaling servings up or down so the quantities adjust themselves, keeping versions as you tweak a recipe, and a Cook Mode that keeps your screen awake so you're not poking a greasy phone mid-stir. It's free to start and installs like an app. If you save recipes today, where do they live - notes app, screenshots, 40 open tabs? Tell me what to build next 🍋
I do relate with an issue of having to look for a recipe among story or within a video, so this is great. I would also love to have an option of swapping ingredients because of preferences or cost. Is that in the roadmap?

That already exists! You just hit Edit on a recipe to create a new version
Stripping a recipe URL down to just ingredients and steps with a screen-awake Cook Mode is exactly what I want mid-stir — does it pull nutrition info too?

Sure does! (if it exists on the page it's looking at)

This is such a cool and helpful idea. I always struggle scrolling through pages and pages before reaching the actual ingredients section and scrolling back and forth between them and the cooking instructions. This makes it so much easier! 10/10

AI-powered golf trip planning tool helping golfers build custom itineraries.
The core pain point here is real — recipe websites have become almost unusable with popups, autoplay videos, and 2000-word life stories before the actual ingredients. The AI-powered unit conversion is the standout feature; being able to adapt any recipe to metric/imperial on the fly saves a frustrating step. Would be interesting to see a "scale servings" feature built in too. Clean execution of a genuinely useful idea.

Glad you think so, I agree!
The 'skip the life story' positioning is genuinely the right hook — that's exactly the frustration people have with recipe sites. The AI unit conversion is a sleeper feature that'll get heavy use; scaling a recipe from 4 to 7 servings with fractional cups is annoying to do manually. Curious how you handle recipes that are behind paywalls or login-gated — does the converter still work in those cases?

thoughtful, specific, and helpful.
Indie maker building playful dopamine websites, tiny web games, and SEO-driven side projects.
Really useful idea. Recipe sites are often overloaded with ads, popups, and long stories, so getting straight to the ingredients and steps feels like a real painkiller. I also like the serving adjustment and unit conversion features.
Both of those features exist on Drizzlelemons!

Love this idea. Recipe sites have become so cluttered, and Drizzlelemons turns them back into something actually usable: clean ingredients, clear steps, unit conversion, and easy saving. Very practical.
thoughtful, specific, and helpful.
This solves a real problem. Recipe websites have become so cluttered with ads, videos, and long stories that cooking often feels frustrating before it even starts. The clean recipe view and cook mode look especially useful.
The versioning angle is useful: a lot of recipe tools clean up the page, but keeping edits, serving changes, and a cook-ready version turns it into a real personal cookbook. I’d be curious if the grocery list can merge ingredients across multiple recipes, since that would make weekly planning much easier.

The grocery list can certainly do that! Try it out
An ad-free recipe converter that simplifies messy web layouts into a clean interface is exactly what I need. Definitely bookmarking this tool for my next meal prep.
The unit conversion plus in-place diet adaptation is what makes this more than a reader-mode clone - swapping metric/US or making a recipe gluten-free are exactly the two things I usually open another tab for. When you build the grocery list from several saved recipes, does it merge duplicate ingredients into one combined quantity?
