5Hi Fazier! I'm Jeroen, co-founder of MJoy-IT, a small app studio in Rotterdam. The details of a home are scattered everywhere: the washing machine receipt in a drawer, the energy contract in your inbox, the boiler's serial number on a sticker behind the boiler. You need that information a few times a year, and then you need it right away. That's why we built Domeaz. It keeps appliances and warranties, contracts and notice periods, maintenance and the tradespeople you call in one place, with a reminder before something runs out. No ads, no tracking, data stored in the EU. At launch it's available in the EU/EEA only. I'd love your feedback: what would make this the place you keep everything about your home?
Tracking the warranty end date and serial number next to the receipt is a practical detail that most people only think about when something breaks. Sharing the list with housemates and getting reminders before notice periods on contracts also makes it useful beyond one person. The no-tracking, EU data storage point is worth stating clearly for anyone managing household paperwork.
The landing page explains what the product does very quickly, which is not easy to do for a software tool. I like that it is clear who the product is meant for, since that makes it easier for the right users to decide if it fits their needs. One thing I would be curious about is how new users get started in their first week and what support is available if they get stuck. Congratulations on the launch, and I hope it reaches the right audience.
A structured mirror for your life path.
The Smart Scan for reading an appliance's type plate from a photo is a nice touch, since typing serial numbers is exactly where these apps lose people. When you sell the house, does the handover export keep the maintenance history in a form the buyer can import into their own Domeaz account?
