Cognlay is a governed AI SDR platform built to manage the entire outbound loop safely. It finds and enriches leads, writes adaptive emails, handles replies with intent detection, and books meetings—all while protecting your sender health. Unlike basic sequencers that run fixed steps, Cognlay learns from outcomes and keeps you in complete control by routing risky or high-value conversations back to a human.
Ideal for solo founders, sales teams, and growth leaders who want to scale their outbound capacity with AI, but need strict guardrails to prevent brand damage. Cognlay handles the repetitive heavy lifting—researching accounts, drafting personalized emails, and triaging initial replies—while ensuring you maintain control over your sender reputation and critical prospect relationships.

The governance angle is what separates this from another sequencer. Most outbound tools optimize for volume and quietly burn sender reputation. How do you decide what counts as a risky conversation worth routing back to a human, is that rule based or learned from outcomes? That threshold feels like the whole product.

Exactly, that threshold is the whole game. We use rules for hard safety stuff like bounces, opt-outs, angry replies, pricing/legal risk, and AI should not freestyle here moments. Then outcome learning helps tune the softer calls over time. Basically: let AI do the boring chase, but don’t let it cosplay as a senior sales rep during risky conversations.
The sender reputation protection is the feature that actually earns trust here — most AI outbound tools let you crank up volume until your domain gets blacklisted, then leave you to sort it out. Building bounce risk monitoring and daily limits into the platform rather than making it the user's problem is the right call. The human-in-the-loop routing for risky threads is also smart: the failure mode for fully autonomous SDRs is usually a tone-deaf reply to an angry prospect, and having that as a hard escalation path addresses the main reason sales teams hesitate to hand over the inbox.

Yep, this is exactly the scar tissue we built around. More volume is easy. Not quietly setting your domain on fire is the harder part. The goal is simple: AI can handle the grind, but angry prospects, risky claims, and weird edge cases get kicked back to a human before anything embarrassing happens.
