ChannelScout helps indie founders find where to launch and grow. Paste your app URL and in minutes it ranks the platforms and communities that fit your specific product, including subreddits, Discords, newsletters, X, TikTok, and YouTube. Output includes reasoning, what to skip, and a 30-day roadmap sized to your hours. It builds a brand guide, suggests content in your voice, tracks live threads asking for your product, and generates slide decks. Buy a $19 Blueprint once which includes 30 day access to all the AI tools to build your content library, then optionally keep Scout Signal for ongoing hunts.

35Hey, Sarah here. Solo founder. I built ChannelScout because I shipped my own app, watched it fall flat, and realized I had no idea where to find users. Generic ChatGPT prompts kept giving me advice that could apply to a bakery as easily as a SaaS. Useless. So I built the tool I wished I'd had: tell it about your app, it picks the channels actually worth your time, builds a 30-day plan that fits your actual hours, and writes the posts in your brand voice. $19 once, plus 30 days of access to all the AI tools. Launching on Product Hunt May 6. Honest feedback welcome here, anything from the wizard, the channel rankings, the brand guide, to general "what's missing." I'm reading every comment. Thanks for taking a look.
Good, thxsfdafewartfewf
Super ii Open intelligence, built together. A public AI collaboration hub for discovering, building, and sharing models, datasets, and apps.
The "post on Reddit" advice is genuinely the most useless generic tip every solo dev gets after shipping. Building a tool that actually analyzes your product and matches it to real communities — while explaining *why* certain channels are disqualified — is solving a real pain point. The constraint-aware planning (5/10/15/20 hrs) is smart too. Would love to know if you plan to add performance tracking so founders can see which channels actually convert vs just drive traffic.
Yeah, "just post on Reddit" was the advice I got after shipping Stamp'd and it sent me right back to a blank screen. Which sub, saying what, at what time. Nobody answered any of that. The "why disqualified" piece was the part I most needed when I built this for myself. Where NOT to spend the hour matters as much as where to spend it. Performance tracking is on the roadmap. The shape I'm planning: per-channel attribution so you can see which rooms turn visitors into signups, not just clicks, then feed that back into the next 30-day cycle so it gets sharper over time.
The biggest value for me was not “more content ideas” but where to actually post. Most tools stop at content, this one goes deeper into distribution. The channel ranking + reasoning is solid. It doesn’t just say “post on Reddit,” it tells you which communities and what to avoid. That alone saves a lot of trial and error. The 30-day blueprint is useful if you’re short on time. It’s not generic advice, it adjusts based on your hours, which makes it more practical than most “growth plans”. Content generation is decent. Not magic, but better than starting from scratch every time. The brand voice part is a nice touch.
This is exactly the read I was hoping for. The whole reason ChannelScout exists is that I shipped Stamp'd, did the "post on Reddit" thing, and got nowhere. Knowing where to spend the hour was the missing piece, not another content calendar. You're right about content gen, it's a starting point not magic. I'd rather it be honest than oversell. The brand voice piece is the part I keep iterating on because the difference between "AI-sounding" and "actually yours" is where it earns its keep. Really appreciate you writing this out, it's the kind of feedback that tells me what to deepen next.
excellent! I reviewed and it's very interesting!
Thank you!!
Interesting concept. Finding specific niche communities is usually the hardest part of a launch. Having a roadmap tailored to actual available hours is a smart touch.
Thank you. It's what I needed and so I thought why not pass it along to someone else who may need it too.

Solo developer that wants to improve the communication.
It seems like it's a great service but I didn't get the real value of the product. Tried to get blueprint for my startup, was filling fields for 5-10 minutes and got paywall then just immideately closed. Hope your other users will be more patient then me :))
Thanks for the honest feedback. I have been wrestling with how much to give away at my own expense to allow people to see how specific and detailed the info is, but I have to protect myself as well. I landed on giving the brand guide (downloadable from wizard and emailed to you) and channel analysis as free outputs, the paywall is only at the final Launch Blueprint step. The intake length is fair though. Trimming it is on my list. The trade-off has been getting enough context to make the channel matches actually specific instead of generic, but 5-10 minutes before any payoff signal is too long, hear you on that.
I'm an entrepreneur who wants to achieve financial freedom through my own hard work.
ChannelScout is a game‑changer for solo devs! It finds your best launch channels, builds a 30‑day roadmap, and creates on‑brand content fast. Highly recommended!
Thank you, Nancy!
Helpful product something which I'm looking for as a solo dev.
Great product love to see
Helpful product that I’ve been looking for occasionally.
Interesting approach to solving this problem. The UI looks clean and straightforward. Would be curious to know how it handles edge cases where the input is ambiguous — does it ask for clarification or make a best guess?
It makes a best guess and shows you what it inferred, but most everything can be revised in the tool. The wizard scrapes your URL, pre-fills what it can pull, and there's a review step before anything gets generated so you can catch things it got wrong. After that, Scout AI is in-product for follow-ups and "actually that's not quite right, let me rephrase" moments. I didn't want to bog people down with too many questions during the wizard, this was the trade off. Open to anything you think might be helpful.
i like build apps
looks good,and it realy helpful
Hi Sarah, firstly good luck I wish you all the best and success. I am solo founder too, (Salute: nutrition & fitness), your product is ofcourse much needed and the value proposition is clear. You got my upvote, and I will spot you on PH as well (May 6). One suggestion, in order to build trust, try to include some kind of a free tier or make it easier to book a demo if it fits your buisness model
Thank you, this means a lot from another solo founder. Send me your Salute PH link and I'll return the support. Free tier is something I'm actively wrestling with. Right now it's $19 one-time for the Blueprint so the barrier is low, but you're right that it's not the same as "try before you commit." Thinking through what a free slice could look like (Channel Scan or Blueprint preview) without giving away the part that does the actual work. Demo booking is on my list too once I have bandwidth to run them properly. Genuinely grateful for the upvote and PH support, every bit matters when you're starting from zero.

Identifying the right communities from scratch is incredibly time-consuming, so having a personalized guide that fits my specific niche is a huge lifesaver. Being an indie founder with limited hours, a roadmap that adjusts to my schedule is exactly what I need. Great concept!
Thanks, Masashi!

Smart idea, distribution can be very painful.

Finally, a tool that bridges the gap between 'I just shipped' and 'How do I get my first 100 users?'. The $19 Blueprint is a very fair price point for a personalized launch plan, especially compared to expensive agencies or generic courses. Being able to see a free brand guide preview before paying adds a lot of trust. Looking forward to seeing how the Scout Signal tracks niche communities over time!
Thank you, Mikhail. Any feature suggestions you may have, please send them my way!!
